Deutsche Bank would terminate its business with Donald Trump, the group’s largest lending company that once managed to finance its golf courses and hotels.
An individual who knows how to think of the bank told CNN Business, Germany’s largest bank agreed to refrain from future business with the President and his firm. The story is the follow-up last week to the deadly riot in the US Capitol, first recorded by the New York Times.
A Deutsche Bank (DB) spokesman refused to comment on CNN Business in citing a ban on disclosing the relationships with prospective customers.
The step is the latest corporate response in the President’s war after his supporters’ blatant attack on the Capitol, which killed five people.
